How Does ARTIE Know Who I Am?

After you sign-up for ARTIE you will be assigned a four-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). ARTIE reads your PIN, credit union membership number, and your transactions or inquiries through the push-buttons on a touch-tone phone.

When you receive your PIN, we recommend you change it to a number that’s easy for you to remember. You can use ARTIE to automatically change your number (MAIN MENU 4 Change PIN). Be sure to memorize or keep your PIN and member  number in a safe place to prevent unauthorized access to your accounts.

Using ARTIE — Your Audio Response Touch-Tone Teller!

ARTIE guides you step-by-step through the audio response menus. All you need are your membership number, new PIN, and the sub account number for each of your credit union accounts (listed on your current Credit Union monthly statement).

STEP 1. Call ARTIE at 718- 361-1002.

After you hear the credit union welcome announcement, you will be given the following message: “For account information, to transfer funds, request checks, or for rate information PRESS 1.”

STEP 2. PRESS 1 for ARTIE.

ARTIE will ask you for your PIN and your credit union member number. Enter numbers as requested followed by the # (pound) sign (also called a number sign). The # sign lets ARTIE know you have entered the information  requested. ARTIE will then offer the Main Menu.

STEP 3.  Make a choice from the Main Menu.

ARTIE then guides you through the transaction or inquiry.

  • PRESS 2: Perform Monetary Transactions
  • PRESS 3: CU Rates/Loan Estimates
  • PRESS 4: Change PIN
  • PRESS 5: Different Account Number
  • PRESS 6: CU Services
  • PRESS 7: Speak To Member Services Representative
  • PRESS 8: Repeat Options
  • PRESS 9: End Call (You May End Your Call At Any Time)
  • PRESS 0: Instructions (Tutorial)

STEP 4: Choose and press 1, 2, 3, or 6 from to MAIN MENU.

Your menu choice will guide you to complete your inquiry or transaction.

NOTE: Main Menu items 4, 5, 7,8, 9, and 10 are self-explanatory procedures.
