Metro's Basic Checking Account offers these features:
- NO minimum balance
- NO monthly fees
No dividends are paid on these accounts.

HI-FI Checking
Account
HI-FI Checking offers you a dividend earning checking alternative:
- Earn interest with a daily balance above $500.00.
- Maintain $100.00 minimum balance and avoid a $2.00 per
month maintenance fee.

Make checking account deposits using Payroll
Deduction, Direct
Deposit, at ATMs
(where available), at a Metro drop box, in person, or by mail (please
do not send cash by mail).
Automatic Overdraft Protection
To prevent overdrafts, have the Credit Union automatically transfer
funds from your Credit Union Signature, RealtyLine, or Stock Secured
Line-of-Credit at NO fee to you. Funds may also be transferred from
your Share Savings account or other Credit Union savings or Checking
accounts for a nominal $3.00 per transaction fee.
If you are aware of a possible overdraft, you can always avoid
a fee when you transfer money using ARTIE,
It's Me 247, your METROCash
ATM Card, or in person. If funds are not available from your
primary account, you can designate up to four credit union accounts
to transfer funds from.
